Full course description
This course is designed to provide an introduction to geographic information systems/science (GIS). The topics covered will include: geodesy, basic cartography, data models, creating spatial data, editing data, querying data, analyzing data, and sharing data. The software used in this class: ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online. The goal of this course is to help students develop a systematic understanding about GIS and gain practical knowledge and skills about using GIS software.

This course satisfies the intro to GIS pre req for all admitted GIS and GEOINT students.
